The Evolution of Beyond Boudoir Photo
When I first started this site, two years ago, I really did not know where it would lead. My feeling at the time was that I wanted to offer a sexier style of boudoir photography, but I didn't wish to offend any potential clients who wanted a more traditional, safe, boudoir look. I carefully hid the naughty images in password protected galleries.
This site has gradually changed over time and the change is driven by the people who find my site and contact me. While I do get a few inquiries about doing a safe, vanilla, non-nude, boudoir shoot, most people are interested in much more explicit scenarios.
Apparently, I have found and filled a niche in the world of personal photography. I couldn't be happier!
I love helping women and couples express their sexuality in any way they wish. Obviously, most professional photographers don't feel that way. I get numerous emails from people all over North America who want really sexy photos, but can't find a photographer in their area willing to work with them. Others, especially those who live in small cities, are afraid to work with a local photographer for fear of a privacy breach.
I'm having a great time helping clients express their sexuality, but I'm still a bit reluctant to post a lot of explicit photos where anyone can view them. That's why the more mature images are password protected. I only give the password to those who express an interest in having a private photoshoot. Inquiries that don't state that clearly are ignored. This may not be the best solution, but it's the one I'm most comfortable with for now. Who knows what the future will bring?
