I found Dr. Mike while searching online for a photographer who did BDSM themed photos. I had done a standard boudoir shoot before, which resulted in very soft and delicate photos. Though my husband enjoyed them, I felt that they were designed to appeal more to women than men. I wanted to surprise my husband with a different type of seduction after 10 years together.

I don’t live in Portland, but Dr. Mike was very communicative from the moment I inquired about a shoot, in the months leading up to my trip, before and during the shoot, and even weeks after the fact, checking in about my husband’s reaction and my happiness with the results.

The shoot was such fun. Previous shoots I’ve done have been very impersonal and businesslike, entirely focussed on the schedule and a set of poses. Dr. Mike was so friendly and set the mood of the shoot to be relaxed and playful. I was able to be myself and feel sexy, which resulted in gorgeous photos that don’t feel staged. There were a few ideas I had in advance, but a lot of my favorite shots came from unplanned poses. Dr. Mike’s directions and ideas resulted in a wide variety of looks for me to choose from.

 

Our photo shoot was a gift of trust, but in the end it was much more. It was a playful connection of love for each other and our bodies--as is. There we were, in the raw, and BeyondBoudoirPhoto was private, professional and fun. We chose several sensual erotic photos that we did not even want photo-shopped because he did such a good job. I wish we had done this years ago. These photos are sacred treasures for us. Do not hesitate, just go for it! Using the art of photography is a healthy and beautiful way to express yourself. Dr Mike made me feel very comfortable from the beginning.  He's very personable and professional and he knew exactly which shots would be best to bring out my inner sex kitten!  My husband had some poses/shots in mind and Dr MIke was very accommodating and always made sure that I looked my best in every shot.  My husband and I love the photos!  We definitely recommend Dr Mike for all of your saucy pics!

I had so much fun working with Dr. Mike on a set of boudoir photos for my husband. He facilitates a very professional atmosphere and I felt comfortable the entire time. He was also creative with shoot and costume ideas, and the pictures turned out great! I would definitely use Dr. Mike’s services in the future for outstanding boudoir photography.

Also I showed the photos to my husband and he LOVED them! (He's already talking about what costumes/poses he wants in the *next* set!)

I have chosen Beyond Boudoir photography more than once and there are many reasons I keep coming back when I need intimate portraits done. I value most his professionalism, because when portraits of this nature are being produced, the comfort of both my partner and myself is crucial. He also takes his time with getting lighting and poses just right. His easygoing nature puts me at ease and allows myself and those I've modeled with to "be themselves." He knows how to capture expressions very well too. He also works with the best equipment around. He is quite creative but also allows you to integrate your ideas into the shoot. His reputation is revered and I have recommended him to many of my friends for their boudoir as well as "PG-rated" portraitures. His prices are quite reasonable too, especially considering the time and effort he puts into his work.

I was part of an erotic photo shoot with my boyfriend, DaddyW, which took place at a local dungeon in Portland (OR). Mike showed up early and was personable during set-up (and take-down). I was impressed by Mike's knowledge of photography and the best angles to use for the best results. There's nothing to improve on my experience, as it was perfect. I had a wonderful time!
