Pre-digital photographers called this type of arrangement a TFP shoot. That's Time For Prints. It meant instead of cash, a model would be paid in prints that she could put into her portfolio, a physical book of prints she could show to potential employers. The term collaboration was also popular and is still in use today.
These days, models and online content creators do trade shoots to get digital content they can sell to their fans. Nobody wants prints anymore. That's why I use the term Content Trade Shoot.
While most content creators shoot their own content, even the best selfie artist can benefit from offering her fans some images taken by a pro photographer.
My content trade shoots typically last about two hours and the goal is to create about five hundred usable images. That doesn't mean that each one is a masterpiece, but they will be properly composed, lighted and processed. Images with obvious flaws will be culled.
You receive your edited copies via Google Drive, typically within one week or you can have them straight out of the camera and do your own editing. I use my copies as content that I sell to my international fans on a platform called Bentbox. The model has full rights to sell her copies anywhere, including OnlyFans.
When we set up the content trade shoot, we'll discuss what theme or style we want to create. My fans want to see my erotic Playboy style, with open leg poses, but the model is welcome to request whatever she needs as well. Some want tame images for social media and some want to show a particular fetish her fans prefer. It's all negotiable.
When I select models for my content trade shoots, I have to respect my fans preferences. They prefer cis-female models without many tattoos, who are fit and attractive. They love MILFs, so fit older women are welcome to apply.
I have a lovely home studio near Washougal, Washington, which is about 20 minutes Northeast of Portland airport. I also enjoy making house calls if there is enough room for photography.
